Rabbi Akevy Greenblatt: Rabbi Akevy Greenblatt is currently the Judaic Studies Lower School Principal at the Margolin Hebrew Academy in Memphis TN. Akevy is also part of the adminsitrartive team for the Margolin Hebrew Academy/ Finestone Yeshivas of the South, which is a Prek- 12 school. Akevy has been involved education for the last 20 years and is a leading change agent in trying to incorporate 21st Century skills with Judaic studies.Meeting students needs and differentiated instruction is something that Akevy believes to be at the core of teaching and is hoping to work on a Differentiated Instruction workbook for Judaic Studies. Akevy is also one of the founders and moderators for #jedchat. Akevy is also a memeber of Connected Principals and had presented at the RSCON3 online symposium.Akevy with more than 2,000 followers on twitter has created a large and influential PLN. Rabbi Dov Emerson is an Assistant Principal at the DRS Yeshiva High School, part of the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach (HALB), in Woodmere, NY. He has worked with young adults in both formal and informal settings, and he is particularly interested in learning about creative ways to use technology in education. His formal education includes a B.A. from Yeshiva University, a Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University, and a Masters in Education from Azrieli Graduate School of Education, where he is currently a student in the Doctoral program. His informal education comes from his incredible PLN (Personal Learning Network) of fellow educators on Twitter, who teach him about awesome new resources every day. Dov is one of the founders of #jedchat, and he is the administrator of YU 2.0, an online community for Jewish Educators interested in educational technology. Born in Atlanta, Georgia and currently living in Hollywood, Florida, Rabbi Meir Wexler has been educating and inspiring elementary, middle and high school students for over a decade in Baltimore, Atlanta, Kansas City and South Florida. He’s the Judaic Director of Technology and Activities in a K-8 400 student private school and teaches as well. Rabbi Wex is the CEO of Wex Consultants which speaks to and assists schools with 21st century education technology integration. He is a co-founder of the highly acclaimed Twitter hashtag #Jedchat, a global professional learning community for all Jewish education stakeholders. He earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Ner Israel Rabbinical College as well as Rabbinic Ordination. He has a Graduate Certificate in Education Technology from the Azrieli Graduate School of Yeshiva University and is currently working on his Graduate Certificate in Differentiated Instruction. He is also currently authoring a book on numerology in Tanach. Rabbi Wex was named as an educator of the year in Kansas City in 2008.
